Pump not working? Is it an Aquascape adjustable pump?

The Aquascape Adjustable pump

Let’s start with, we love this pump!  We use the SLD pumps and use them all the time!

They come in 5000-9000 gph, 4000-7000 gph and 2000-5000 gph.

The great thing about this pump is that it allows leaves, string algae, mulch and even small rocks to pass through it without damaging the pump!

This is the receiver.  It plugs into the electricity as well a the pump. It allows the to be controlled from the receiver or from your smart phone.

Understand the Receiver

If you have this pump, you need to know how the receiver works.  Controlling it through the receiver is easy!  But if someone messes around with the buttons on the bottom, it could get a little confusing.

Here is the underside of the pump receiver.

Spelling it out

The writing and arrow in blue shows the pump receiver RESET BUTTON.

The writing and arrow in GREEN show a circle that looks like and “on” button.  This should be pressed in. When this is pressed, it allows the controller to be controlled by pressing buttons on the top of the receiver to raise and lower the flow or to control it through your smart phone. You would have to pair that up per the instruction manual.

The writing and arrow in RED point to the other side of that toggle switch to where the line is.  That does not turn the pump off.  What it does is turn the pump on high AND it keeps it there, cutting off your ability to be controlled by pressing buttons on the top of the receiver or to control it through your smart phone.

Need the manual for this pump?  I am sure you can find on Aquascape’s website.  We have the Pump Manual here too!
