Mo leaks. Great looking pomd!Posted on Monique WaltersMay 3, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My pond needed some serious cleaning! It had been more than a couple of years since it had been professionally cleaned. After seeing that the last company I used no longer had good reviews, I began searching the web. Sweetwater Ponds had some incredible reviews, so I contacted them to ask a few questions and get an estimate. I then made the decision to try them. On the day of cleaning, Victor and Luis arrived with everything needed for a thorough cleaning. They worked diligently to safely set the fish aside, empty the pond, clean the interior (including removing and separating all the hardy lilies that had taken over), refill the pond and reintroduce the fish. My pond looks incredible now! I cannot say enough great things about Victor and Luis and Sweetwater Ponds. I will definitely be using them again!Posted on John KittsApril 22, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Wow, what a great company. They answer the phone, and are responsive in every way. Both technicians I met were fabulous (extra thanks to Israel who worked his tail off). My home has two water features that were losing water and needed an overhaul. I had reached out to three of Google search top "landscaping and water feature" companies in the Boulder/Longmont area, and not one called me back or responded to my inquiries. I won't name them here out of kindness. The good news is if you reach out to Sweetwater Ponds, you will likely get a human that indeed wants to help. Long story short, these folks love what they do and it shows. I will absolutely use them again going forward. Great company, Kristi is wonderful to do business with. Thank you!Posted on Jackie FiumaraApril 21, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We used Sweetwater Ponds for a pond cleanout. Jose was amazing! He truly cared about my fish, the pond, and the end results! I was so impressed with this young man's ability to communicate to me exactly what he was doing and why he was doing so.....it's definitely refreshing to see that level of pride in your work. Thank you, Jose. I will definitely use Sweetwater Ponds again.Posted on Melinda “Mel” PApril 18, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The house I recently bought has a pond. I was overwhelmed, not knowing anything about how it works & the upkeep. Sweet water Ponds has taught me so much. They are dependable & have done an excellent job so far. Do not hesitate to use this company as they truly do an excellent job.Posted on Linda GwaltneyMarch 30, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Israel did a great job locating and fixing a leak in my pond. He also made other suggestions that would enhance the pond's features. Kristi is also top notch with communication and answers to any questions. Highly recommend.Posted on S GramsMarch 27, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This entire company's process and team is IMPRESSIVE. They are quick to respond to questions, arrive on time, and do a thorough job, all while showing respect to the homeowner and the home. I cannot comment enough on how great it is to work with such a wonderful team!Posted on Scott TMarch 1, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Israel did a pond repair for me this summer was professional, thorough and knowledgeable very reasonably priced compared to other pond companies in the area. I would use them for any future work.

We have a step by step process to figure out where the pond or feature leak is coming from and we can repair it. We have worked with leaks for years!
Having to pull the hose out to fill up the pond over and over can be extremely frustrating. While it seems like there would be a pool of leaking water to make it obvious where the issue is, it never works that way. Did you know that during the summer, normal evaporation rate can be 2 to 3 inches a week from your feature? It can, no matter the size of the pond! If your feature is losing more than that, it could be a pond leak!
Yes! We clean ponds and water features.
Our comprehensive cleanout service includes:
* removal of water
* fish to be placed in portable pond during the cleaning
* pressure filter to be backwashed (if present)
* Iongen probe to be cleaned
* thorough pressure washing of all surfaces
* cleaning of equipment and filter media
* will trim back plants
Does your pond need something different than the list above? No problem! We are flexible and want to listen to your needs!
Pond maintenance options are custom priced for your individual pond and water feature needs.
A basic Pond Harmony Plan includes:
💧Clean & rinse filters and baskets
🍃 Tidy up - remove debris and general tidy up
🌿 Plants - trim, fertilize and cutback as needed. We can add plants if requested (cost depends on plants)
🐟 Water treatments - beneficial bacteria and specific treatments as needed
💧 Partial water change as needed
🧪 Water Test (pH, ammonia, nitrite, & nitrate)
🐟 Equipment maintenance
👀 Water loss look-out. We keep an eye on water levels and watch out for low liner
🍁 Fall Prep and Winter Prep (material cost for net depends on the size of pond)

Israel and Kristi have worked in an Aquascape Certified Contractor business. We have been through the Aquascape contractor training. As Sweetwater Ponds, we wanted the flexibility to use the products that were best for our clients, regardless of the brand. We use the Aquascape method when we build and service ponds.
